Bandana, who had come to Nepal from America without informing her home on the day of the surprise, finally left the plane.
20-year-old Bandana, who lives in America, met with a plane crash in Pokhara on Sunday while going to Galkot to surprise her grandfather and friends.
72 people died along with him in the accident. Ndana used to sing since childhood. She sang a song composed by her father at the age of 13. She also recorded a song called 'Uth Uth Nepali Ho, Najuk sama kike sama to protect Nepali dignity'. A patriotic song performed by her can also be seen on YouTube.
Bandana was preparing for nursing after just completing plus two. While she was preparing for nursing, she came to Nepal to visit her sick grandmother. Her grandmother is undergoing treatment in Kathmandu. Her father died in America 5 years ago.
She came to Kathmandu 10 days ago and stayed in the hospital with her sick grandmother. She was going to Galkot via Pokhara without telling anyone on Sunday morning to meet her mother, Phupu, and give a surprise to her grandfather. She was also preparing for nursing classes online when she came to Nepal.
The plane on which she booked a ticket to go to Pokhara was merged and taken. According to her family, she reached the airport because she received a phone call earlier after joining the plane at 10:30 on Sunday.
She has been singing since childhood and had a big dream of turning her father's creations into songs. Her elder sister Jamie Sunar said that her dream is incomplete after living in America for 10 years and thinking of returning to Nepal.
